My 3rd Newborn session in a row that finished up in 1.5 hours or less!!! Go Liam! Liam at 7 days old was super sleepy but it helped that he had his belly full with milk and a VERY warm studio. Liam also was a pro at giving me some great smiles!
And so many great black and white ones from this session! I can't decide if I like color or b/w better. What do you think?
And of course we had to get pictures with Liam and his Mom and Dad! The three of them are adorable!

I photographed Roman's Birth 2 years ago (the day before my birthday) and I just love every time I get to see him again.
We decided to meet at Mount Echo (I have never been before but it's a new favorite location now) close to sunset and the location and timing was perfect.
Roman was a tiny bit shy at the beginning of our photography session but he warmed up quickly with a game of peek a boo and some racing!

Miles is one of my One Year Package Babies, unfortunately he was really sick for his 9 month pictures but we were able to catch up a few months later. Miles is one of the easiest babies I have ever met. He smiles no matter... even if he doesn't like the feel of the grass, he just keeps smiling! I can't wait to see him again soon!
I have been wanting to do this type of session for a long time, but had a hard time finding the right family.
This wasn't an easy under taking. We had to reschedule 4 or 5 times (because of weather and sick kids), I brought my husband a long to help carry this canoe about 1/4 of a mile on a narrow trail through the woods.. anyways, afterwards I looked at them on my computer and I knew all the trouble was worth it!
I am hoping to do a few more of these family canoe sessions in 2017!
